Frankenstein: The 1818 Text by Mary Shelley

5.0

A great introduction to classic literature for the average contemporary reader, Frankenstein proved to be quite an easy read. I must thank my friend for lending this novel to me, as I otherwise would've probably avoided such a commonly told story and missed the intricacies of the novel itself. Shelley writes not just a story that is slightly off-putting about the human conscious, but critiques the revolution of social engineering and its effects not just on the human population but what we are able to create.
