DNF after 10 chapters. Absolutely boring, Wattpad coded heroine, who’s small and feminine and dainty, but also a really fast runner and who conveniently doesn’t mind sleeping outdoors.
The hero is just as boring, falling into the typical trope of tasteless handsome man(tm), who likes to hurt and threaten the heroine to keep her submissive to him.
Hated the fact that he kidnapped her as soon as she turned 18, while he was described to be 30-ish. Yucky.
The writing was boring too, and I simply couldn’t connect with anything happening. I couldn’t care less about the heroine’s feelings because it was just so bland.
I’ve read dark stuff before, much more captivating, also with abduction and Non-con themes, in which the story was written so much better and I could actually cry with the heroine.
