I found this difficult to get into at first. I think the author tried too hard to make this an entirely made up world but took it too far. Basic phrases like day and night were changed, and there were so many that at the beginning I was flipping back and forward to the glossary constantly.
Once I got used to it I like the story and the characters. I did anticipate what the twists were well ahead of time though. Also the family tree has some major spoilers in it.
I felt like the book felt unfinished, probably because I already knew had figured out what information it ended with.
There are so many unfinished plot lines in this that feel out of place.
Overall I did like the story but feel some things could have been done better.
