She Loves Me by Melissa Foster

4.0

There are so many aspects of Melissa Foster books that make me roll my eyes ALL the way back into my head....and yet somehow they still get me. This book was no different. Every over the top cliche was met with a grounded moment or a choice to turn a trope on its head. I think she is probably an author who's books will either work for you or they won't. She has a very specific voice and writing style, at least in the Sugar Lake and Harmony Pointe series. I've enjoyed the Daltons but I'm not sure that I'll branch out into any of Foster's other series.
