A very entertaining and engaging read somewhere between 3.5/4*
I liked the dynamic between the two men, protagonists then reluctant allies then lovers then friends then more.
Court was suitably gruff in his work environment but showed his softer side with Jock, ultimately with Oliver and a bit with Wilford.
Oliver was endearing, just like a puppy!! Playing on people's sensitivities but owning a talent that showed itself.
I enjoyed the murder investigation and the development of the men's relationship - and then the little twist with Wilford and Miss Hathaway.
