Murder on Wheels by Stuart Palmer
3.75
I'm not sure when I reserved this from the library, but I was surprised to get it when I did because I'd stopped taking Miss Withers books out after being somewhat disappointed. This one was fun if with some of the same flaws of other Miss Withers books- somewhat obvious prose, murder methods that are very "because I say so," among other things- but the opening setup was cool, the overall situation was fun though I figured out the twin switch basically immediately , and Miss Withers and Inspector Piper continued to be enjoyable, with a somewhat strange but moderately plausible explanation as to why their apparent interest in marriage at the end of the previous book had gone nowhere. Not a whole lot of substance, but I have a feeling nobody cared at the time and I'm not sure I do here now either.
