The Birds of Tanglewood by Karle Wilson Baker, Charlotte Baker, Sarah Ragland Jackson

lighthearted reflective slow-paced

4.0

This a charming collection of essays written about the anecdotes of bird watching in Nacogdoches, Texas in the  1930s. The author uses vivid imagery to describe the birds’ appearance and behaviors.  The author’s daughter penned the illustrations that accompany the book. A delightful read!
