I was afraid to read this book at first (don’t ask why, I don’t know). But it turned out to be one of my favorite books/series/authors. The writing wasn’t poetic but gave a feeling of poetic that makes the readers feel “special”. The scenes that were “intimate” (no clothes off), were so loving that I didn’t crave more. I felt satisfied and full. Most if not all the characters were lovable. The plot twist in the end was so major that I had my hand held over my mouth (also emotional, highly). And because of the extra events that happen, Kitt changes, leaving me both angry and disappointed. The only complaint I have is that we didn’t get enough of Kai’s pov (maybe in the end), but they were short lived, though descriptive. Also, the length of the book was a little long. Overall, highly recommended and another 6 star read.
Graphic: Death, Violence, Blood, Injury/Injury detail
