I can honestly say that I have been changed by this series.
The ending was not what I expected, nor what I wanted it to be, yet it was perfect. I have laughed, cried, been scared and concerned for these characters since the very first page of the first book, An Ember in the Ashes.
This world and the people that make it will live with me for a long time and I am eternally grateful to Sabaa Tahir for writing this story and letting me and all of us be a part of it.
