The Blueprint by S.E. Harmon

3.0

This was a strong 3.75. I've said it before, and I'll say it again now: finding a diamond in the rough that is this hyper-specific genre is such a treat. Sure, it doesn't bring anything new to the table, not really. The story has been done many times before.

HERE, however, the standout element lies in reading from the point of view of Kelly... the wit, the snark, and his voice, in general, made me actually laugh several times. The difference between finding something amusing and finding it so funny that you impulsively laugh out loud is a pretty wide margin. So, with that said, if you like this genre, you'll probably enjoy this, with the added bonus of a truly delightful character's POV (even when you wanted to shake him for his dumb decisions).
