The women in this book are strong and live their lives by their terms, not by anyone else's.
This book is so fantastic. I love reading about strong women from history. It is so important to know the stories of strong women when they have so long been ignored. This is such a great read, and Bagieu's illustrations go so well with the stories she has told.
