Traitor's Blade by Sebastien de Castell
5.0

I really, really, really like this one. It's funny. It's heartbreaking. It's suspensefull. It has calm moments. It has friendship. It has villians. It has everything.

I really like the main character, Falcio, and his friends Kest and Brasti. OMG. If one of these is ever killed off I'm going to be so grumpy. I love their bickering. I love their friendship. I love their loyality. I love that not everything is perfect or that they don't see eye to eye with everything.

There have been some plottwists I've seen coming way before any of the characters have noticed anything (little Aline, for example) and there have been plottwists I really didn't see coming (um, not going to tell because, while being minor details, they are still Spoiler-y as hell and I don't want to rob anybody of discovering them).

I really like the plot and all the other characters we get to meet. For some, I'm really looking forward to meet them again and see how they fare. For some, I'd wish that we won't have to deal with anymore because they are going to bring so much pain to my three heroes...

A thing I really didn't like was the scene with Ethalia. I mean, has she really just been there to there be a way that Falcio can be healed from days of torture within a night and basically rape him (he said "No" at least two times and she didn't care and said that it's for the best for him. Seriously?)? Hmmmmmmm.

Other than that, I really liked imersing myself into this world and I'm looking forward to the next part.
