This is a standalone vampire romantasy in the author’s Echo Realms world. I received an advance review copy and my thoughts are my own. Thank you to the author for my eArc.

Rating: 4/5 Stars 3/5 Flames
Nickname: Little Witch
The Lovely: I loved the dark, spicy and seductive vibes of this book -reminiscent of the Caroline x Klause days of The Vampire Diaries. The twists and turns were fun, if not a little predictable. But, the plot line was interesting and kept me reading.
The Mundane: Despite the Caroline x Klaus vibes, I didn’t feel like the FMC and MMC had much chemistry with each other. He lusted after her and it felt like she eventually just flipped a switch and wanted him. I had been expecting their relationship (and chemistry) to grow but I never got there with them.
Recommendation: I always appreciate getting a standalone in the romantasy or PNR genres, especially if the book isn’t egregiously long. If you liked the Vampire Diaries, and love reading vampire romances, I think you might like this book.
