If you liked A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive baking, you’ll probably enjoy this book. They had very similar tones, although Paladin’s Grace is very clearly aimed at adults. 

Although it took me a bit to get into it, I found it to be an enjoyable romantic fantasy in the end.
