Do I regret just diving into book 8 without going through 1-7? Nope, not one bit.
Heart of Atlantis was one of those books that I definitely chose to listen to for a challenge. It was a short audio and it helped me fill a task. Fortunately for me, it was an enjoyable audio. Even if I kept zoning in and out due to my Mucinex (#flu).
In it, you will meet Alaric, Jack, and Quinn. Ya know how I hate love triangles? Still do. Jack was so full of himself and for some reason thought that Quinn should just be his and his alone. Well okay, it's time to find some realistic goals buddy. Mostly because I was allllll about Alaric and Quinn. They are just so cute and I was loving the whole alpha side on Alaric.
Quinn was an okay character for me. She didn't annoy me so much.. but she also didn't wow me. She sometimes seemed like a badass in her own way but other than that she was just an okay character. I liked her enough - she just wasn't my absolute favorite MC.
Overall, I may or may not dive into books 1-7 lol
