Nine Lives
by Peter Swanson
This was going to be a 2⭐️ book but it immediately lost a star the moment the 'why' was revealed by the killer. I rolled my eyes so hard and just groaned. Make it make sense, cause it was the most asinine and not taking responsibility for their part. Dumb. Also, the writing was so dry and wooden that it was a slog to get through. It was just a play-by-play of the murder of each person, and it was presented in such a clinical fashion. There were no stakes, just boredom. I get more excited when reading a restaurant menu. Also, Do not recommend it.
