I have to admit this one was not what I had built it to be in my head. I loved the first book in this series and Lulu was a great friend, but in this one I feel she came off as a completely different person. From the moment Rafe and Lulu meet I found myself not liking Lulu since she is in his brother’s house unexpectedly and hurts Rafe with no remorse at all. I get it she is going through some things and her family are not so great, but come on that’s no way to treat someone and it seemed to be a pattern with her throughout the story. It was a cute quick read but I feel like Rafe deserved better and I just couldn’t jump on the Lulu bandwagon, maybe it’s a me thing but she ended up being a character I just didn’t like.
