The Toll by Neal Shusterman

5.0

dystopian science-fiction novels are not the genre I read the most. it's not my comfort genre. but I saw and read so many good things about this trilogy that I said "why the hell not?" and BOI was I so glad I did it!!!!! it is just brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique.... I mean, I needed to quote our Lady Gaga for this.

now, to talk about the toll: I f*cking cried. it was just??????? i love it. not gonna lie tho, I was a little lost at some parts but it deserves five stars nonetheless. I adore my babies citra and rowan. I just want to give them everything, you know?

I am still trying to recover from my read. the last chapter was everything to me. I was so stressed during the entirety of the book. I just love this trilogy so much. everyone should read it. e v e r y o n e.

so thank you for coming to my ted talk and have a good read folks!
