Okay I now will officially recommend this series to all of my friends. I think to fully understand this novel, you should read The Assassin's Blade first.
Okay, in love triangle aspects I am so confused. I guess I am Team Celaena cause I will support whoever she chooses. I think Dorian really needs some character development, but otherwise all the other characters seem really human to me. I love all the characters in this series. Also the death in this book RUINED ME. Why Sarah?!?! Also the ending was beautiful and surprising. This novel is action-packed and has a great love triangle, along with a Hunger Games and Tamora Pierce vibe.
