This was a good read but predictable. The characters don’t really change despite time jumping forward 20ish years. It’s got classic whodunnit vibes that aren’t resolved until the literal last page of the book. Found myself saying “No! Why would you do that” about the characters’ actions several times throughout the story. But, I breezed through it because I couldn’t put it down.  Overall compelling, but I’m unlikely to read it again.
