Was I confused pretty much the whole time? Yes.
Was it still a deeply engaging story with fantastic prose? Also yes.
I do wish there was a slower decent into the weirdness of the plot because I was honestly enjoying them just doing science stuff.
Overall fun read and I’m excited for the next installment the series!
