Fast, enjoyable read. Female first-person narrator is both interesting and occasionally falls into the "strong female character" trope, but only rarely. The potential love triangle that may develop doesn't interest me, but I'm willing to stick it out for the cool multiracial characters and unusual Aztec-influenced mysticism.
