There are aspects of this that rock, and there are aspects that stink. I had hoped for more from the highly anticipated finale of the high republic by the man who kicked it all off, but I think he was handed too much of a cluster to make it a truly good book. A couple character arcs come to an incredible conclusion, but most just sort of fizzle out with too little exploration. Even Charles Soule couldn’t land the disjointed, haphazard plane that has been phase III of the high republic.
Graphic: Animal cruelty, Animal death, Death, Gore, Medical content
Moderate: Genocide, Blood, Grief
