My favorite part of this whole book will be the entries in the Single Dad's Playbook. I adore it. I look forward to it every time. Now onto this story.

Elle & Rhodes...there has been tension and love there this whole series so far but I was curious what their story was. They met in college and on the first day Elle asked to make a pact that they would always remain friends and nothing would get in the way because she didn't want anything to mess up a relationship this good....you can see where this is going already.

They are both secretly in love with and obsessed with the other. The way Rhodes talks to her is precious and he's dropping very obvious hints to her ALL THE DANG TIME that he wants to take their relationship from a friends to lovers situation. He calls her "Elle, baby" and I think it's the sweetest thing ever.

Elle adores his son and is sweet, kind, empathetic yet fierce. She cares for Rhodes so much and in the flashbacks you get to see just how much. The pining...the YEARS of pining. The ending was everything I hoped it would be. Love the friend group as always...so good.
