The Fourth Bear by Jasper Fforde
4.0

Another great one from Fforde. I was pleasantly surprised with the different plot structure in this sequel compared to the first book. There's really no repetitiveness to speak of in terms of chapter or beat format. Although there were an inordinate amount of threads brought to proper closure in the end, I would have liked for a few to be more fully explained, like Caliban or how Spratt's status as a PDR affects his actions. I did like the more common (at least it seemed that way) winks and sprinklings of metafiction dialogue. I also found the reinterpretation of the original nursery rhyme more ingenious in this one than The Big Over Easy. Super fun read.
