Kristin Hannah had quickly become one of my favorite writers and I feel like so many women need to read this particular book. I know so many women who have stayed in relationships for far too long because of empty promises and thinking he’s going to change for them. But this book shows that not all men can change. When reading, I was getting really upset because I was thinking she was going to keep her with her husband and I was beaming with joy when it switched and she ended up back in Mystic. Women… you deserve a man who puts you first, is a good father, and loves unconditionally! If a man only wants you because you make his life easy and comfortable get out!
