Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters: An African Tale by John Steptoe

4.0

I bought this book at the Friends of the Public Library sale this past week. I had read it as a child, and was happy to find a copy. I like that Nyasha befriends Nyoka. This tale definitely tells us that character is more important than outer beauty. It also tells us that character is observable and transparent. :) I like that the king takes many shapes.
