I was so excited for this sequel and it was a really good story. However, I think you need to manage your expectations before you head into this book. It centres around Henry Kimball rather than Lily Kintner (although she does appear in a good portion of the book).
The characters all had twisted ideas about what right and wrong meant and Joan was the personification of narcissism. I think the multiple POVs really drove this book. Otherwise it wouldâve probably gotten a bit dull along the line.
So, as already was the case with A Kind Worth Killing, morally-grey characters, many dead people and lots of tension.
