The Rivals by Vi Keeland

5.0

‘Everything about the two of us was complicated. Our relationship had been destined to be difficult before we were even born.’
Sophia and Weston's families were rivals since an incident (called Grace Copeland) wedged differences in Sophia and Weston's grandfather's friendship. Both Sophia and Weston were sent on an assignment to a hotel in New York, their families found out they co-owned with equal shares.
‘Apparently some deep, dark part of me got off on arguing with this man. If Weston and I got along, I might have a better chance of not ending up with my panties around my ankles.’
Sophia and Weston were fire together! I felt their burning chemistry throughout the book.
Sophia was ambitious, smart, sexy, witty and a girl who wanted to prove herself to be capable to handle the hotel to her grandfather. I loved how she put up a good fight with Weston.
Weston was the sexy alpha male, he was infuriating but at the same time charming and possessive. (He made me swoon :-p)
‘But the truth of the matter is, sometimes we just act on instinct like an animal. And Sophia damn Sterling has the uncanny ability to bring out the savage in me.’
You have to read this book further to find out what happens when one family holds the majority of shares in the hotel buisness ;-)
I loved their fights, Vi Keeland kept me entertained throughout the whole book! I just love her writing style.
