Intense. Atmospheric. Buried secrets. Twists and turns. This story explores consequences, guilt, & grief and how they ultimately shape us. The characters were well developed & relatable, the author created a powerful sense of place, and the dual timelines made it interesting. This was outside of my normal comfort zone, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.
