Color me satisfied, and happily at that! Kylie Scott delivers yet another romance that's bound to make readers and fans swoon and get all giddy with delight. Fake is the first book in Scott's new West Hollywood series, and yes, it's a fake relationship romance. Now, if you're familiar with my reviews, then you'll remember that this particular trope is a hit-or-miss with me, although more miss than hit, sadly enough. But Scott is an author that I've come to rely on, which is why I didn't hesitate (all that much) when I learned that the main characters--an actor and celebrity on the A-List and a waitress who isn't on any sort of list--were going to engage in a fake relationship to try and mend his reputation after a scandal hits. Thankfully enough, my faith in Scott's writing paid off because Fake brought an honest-to-goodness smile to my face. Five stars!
