Courage Is Calling: Fortune Favors the Brave by Ryan Holiday

3.0

Courage is Calling is made up of a series of vignettes highlighting the courage of historical figures. I found the stories to be very interesting and I appreciated that Holiday didn't focus on himself and only shared a personal story in the afterwards. However, this did read more like a self help book than a stoicism installment. I also took gumption with him repeatedly calling Napoleon a great leader. I think if you are looking for something centered around stoicism, skip this one.
