This book was heartbreaking, to say the least. You get pulled into Sarah’s emotional trauma and the harsh life she has had and everything about it makes you want to cry.
I wish the ending had been more. After the final act, everything was just summarized in the epilogue, I wish we got more. More of what happened to Elsa, more of what they did with Foch’s body, more of the aftermath.
I hope book 2 is just as good, can’t wait to read it!
