The Warning
by Kathryn Croft
This was my first venture into a Kathryn Croft novel and it most certainly won’t be the last!
Three years ago, two teenage boys are found dead. A terrible accident or at least that’s what we all thought until Zoe received the first email, this prompts Zoe to get in touch with the other boys mother. More messages come through and even more convinced that the accident may not have been an accident, Zoe wants answers but to get to those answers, she has to relive the horror of what happened.
This book consumed me. When I wasn’t reading, I was thinking about it and trying to suss out who the sender of the emails/text messages was. Suffice to say, I wouldn’t make a good detective.
There are plenty of twists and turns, that had me on the edge of my seat, questioning myself on my thoughts as to who I thought the sender was.
So, I can definitely recommend this book, especially to fans of psychological thrillers.
