Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer

Did not finish book. Stopped at 40%.
After reaching the halfway mark in this book, I set it down and never picked it up again. The fault was in myself, not in this beautiful tome. The writing style is almost lyrical, descriptive, and wandering. The author spends pages describing the beauty of a purple and yellow bloom, marveling at how nature pairs such contradictory colors. The very slow pacing wasn’t for me and my style of reading. However, as a history of Native American culture and plants, it’s a worthy read.
