I loved it! A story about two sisters, one who may or may not be a serial killer. There are themes of trauma and family dynamics,  pretty privilege, loyalty, and sacrifice. Our main character, Korede, lives in her sister Ayoola’s shadow, but also feels a great deal of responsibility for her. She watches out for her, cleans up her messes. She not only feels the need to do this herself, but there are people in her life as well as societal pressure for her to take care of Ayoola as an older sibling - and specifically, a woman or femme presenting person. This has left Korede largely on her own, and her sister leading a life of worry free privilege and a lack of understanding the concept of consequences. And the only person Korede DOES have doesn’t know that she exists. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I wanted so much more! More information about their family and past events mentioned in the book. I want to know what happens next! PLEASE GIVE US A SEQUEL LOL OR EVEN A PREQUEL!
