“As Travars.”
Wow, I genuinely loved this so much. The beginning was off to a bit of a slow start getting to know the characters and the world, but once the story started to pick up I was completely hooked. The world-building was so beautifully well-crafted and the varying personalities of all the different characters was quite enjoyable to read! Though I wish I didn't fall into a slump halfway through and read this in one to two sittings. I'm already much attached to Kell, Lila and Rhy already and looking forward to seeing their character development even more throughout this trilogy. This being the second Schwab book I've read, her writing is outstanding especially with the dynamics, the aspects of magic, and different worlds in this one as it differs much to reading Addie Larue. Very excited to dive into the rest of this trilogy!

“I apologize for anything I might have done. I was not myself.”
“I apologize for shooting you in the leg.” said Lila. “I was myself entirely.”
“Perhaps,” she said, “or perhaps I will go with you to the end of the world. After all, you've made me curious.” “Lila—” His eyes were dark with pain and worry, but she only smiled. “One adventure at a time,” she said.”
