I unfortunately have not read the 1st Nick Mason novel (yet). Had I read "Second Life..." already, the beginning of "Exit Strategy" would have been easier to follow.
Once your into the story line though, buckle up, because your in for a fast paced action packed thriller. Steve Hamilton was masterful at painting a picture in my mind.
Loved this book. Can't wait to read the first in the series, and then await a 3rd hopefully next year.
