If you told me the characters in this book were all teenagers I would believe you. Everyone was so insanely childish. I needed a lot more female rage from Sloane and it needed to be directed at Naomi. A great example of just because you’ve been friends forever doesn’t mean you need to remain friends. Rachel Harrison always has insta love romances, but this one was way too insta for me to take.

The vampire elements were also severely lacking. The horror aspects felt like an afterthought. The vampire/horror plot and romance/friendship/general life plots felt like they were taking place in two entirely separate books.

Definitely not her best work - skip this one.
