The Cobbler's Boy by Elizabeth Bear, Katherine Addison

2.0

Two stars. I feel really bad rating this so low. I thought the plot sounded right up my alley but I just couldn’t get over the vocabulary and language choices. The authors chose to use period appropriate language which gives authenticity but for me I found it distracting and it made it harder for me to get invested. I think if you can get past the language the story is charming.
