[Original DNF comment] I can tolerate Lucy Rivers’ narration at times. This time? I’m sorry, but even after reducing the speed several times she was too fast. I’m already not fond of her voice and when she voiced the MMC, it was AWFUL! I immediately archived this audiobook because I will NEVER listen to it. It’s a shame because I enjoyed reading the book.
[Review: 02/10/2024] I decided to try again and ended up finishing the audiobook. Not without constant internal grumbling though. Both of the narrators were NOT to my liking. Lucy Rivers? I pretty much always find her voice & performance cringey and have to reduce the player speed because she speaks ridiculously fast. Lance Greenfield? I hadn’t listened to him prior to Jasper Vale but his speech pattern was bizarrely cadenced and his Jasper was unbecoming. Blech!
