A Moment for Us by Corinne Michaels

4.0

4.5 stars, i really need goodreads to let us add half star ratings.

Specific trigger warnings at the end. which could be considered spoilers, I'm separating them by a line so stop at the line for no spoilers other than that this is a spoiler free review!!!!

Corinne Michaels knows how to write a beautiful story, and this one was no different. It did take me a while to get into it but by the end I really loved the characters & the story. Though I didn't love Josh as much as I did the previous heroes of the series, I think a lot of people can relate to him. Josh is incredibly guarded, especially around the woman he loves most. I think the fear of failure & repetition of a hurtful past is something we all deal with at one point or another.
I really liked Delia. I think loss is something that truly connects people because we all feel it in some way. The grief they experienced was portrayed so painfully beautiful and true.
I really liked this book. It is MUCH heavier than the previous books so please prepare for that. These books can be read as stand-alone a but each book ends with a set up for the next so there are spoilers for previous books throughout.
!!!!!!!!!!!!STOP HERE FOR NO SPOILERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
