2.5⭐️ I was definitely entertained and I’m glad I can read it so that I can keep up with the other characters, but serial killer wanna be hunk, is not my thing. I think it says a lot about how a book is going to go when NO ONE likes Killian, the MC… not his brother, cousins etc. Why do I want to read about someone who antagonizes & annoys the shit out of everyone he’s around? He eventually does redeem himself some what in the end which is why I could get through it. I didn’t like how the dad Asher is made out to be a big asshole to his son Killian. It kinda made sense towards the end, but it didn’t seem right. Also the brother hating on each other in multiple family lines… ugh. Where’s the loyalty?
Glyn’s story is really interesting, as well as how she meets Killian, especially where the story goes with her friend dying.
It was a little confusing keeping everyone straight with which parents and connections from previous reads bc there are so many of them, but I think it’ll become second nature sooner than later with more books.
It was an interesting plot that will continue on in other books.

**warning: suicide, sexual assault, gaslighting, lots of kinks including blood etc.**
