I really do not think this book was for me. I typically prefer more plot than romance, and this was the opposite despite being set in this time and era with war. I think that is saying something. But for those who love romance, I think you will enjoy this as it slams into you with full force in chapter 1, among the first pages. I felt their personalities a bit tired and continuous, lacking much growth at all. I think I wanted more but never got it- the constant repetition truly bored me to death. And the writing lacked complexity that I usually desire. A pity!
