This had a lot less action than I was expecting, especially in the first half. I liked all the characters but I didn't find the friendship between Alia and Diana as strong as I was expecting. The ending was kind of unsatisfying because there was no conclusion to the tension and lack of acceptance Diana felt with the other Amazons, which was the main conflict of the first few chapters. Overall it's not at all a bad book, but it's not what I expected and I was a bit disappointed.
