Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng

medium-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Loveable characters? It's complicated

I liked that the book was clearly about more than the face value of the story; very much about what it means to be a mother and how we cope with those roles. Mrs. Richardson drove me bonkers, and I guess that was kind of the point.
