Tell Everyone on This Train I Love Them by Maeve Higgins

3.0

Maeve Higgins, she's funny. So when I heard a podcast about this book I was excited to read it.

Don't expect funny. In fact, some of the essays are pretty heavy. That doesn't mean they're not good - they are very perspicacious, though a couple are a bit overly introspective. And personally I think a lot of Americans could benefit from the perspective she brings as an "outsider" living in our country, albeit a (acknowledgedly) privileged one.

My absolute favorite piece by far was "Misneach."
