Trigger Warning: for those who haven't read it. The entire book is mainly on any violence committed towards women.
Although it was a short read, it took me three days to read because it wasn't very engaging. It was mainly filled with statistics that can easily be googled. It didn't give a very different perception to what a feminist wouldn't already know. Also, the title of the book "Men Explain Things To Me" was only brought up once with an encounter the author had then wasn't really followed up with. It does hit on important topics dealing with gender-based violence but as I stated before, it wasn't anything new that isn't already known or thought about. There just wasn't as much insight as I thought there would be.
