Dark Matter and the Dinosaurs: The Astounding Interconnectedness of the Universe by Lisa Randall

I wanted to like this book more than I did. The premise is amazing - discovering the interconnection of the universe through the lens of a radical new theory - but ultimately, the author failed to deliver. The book had a lot of high level science terminology presented in a bland format that did not encourage any sort of marvel at the supposed interconnectedness of the universe. In the end, the entire book felt like a way for the author to capitalize on her paper of the same subject, with alluring “it” words to lure people in (black matter, dinosaurs).
And speaking of dinosaurs, they were hardly in this book and I feel cheated.
