The premise was cute, I loved the first 50 pages or so but at 60% I was considering DNFing. I think 100 pages could have been shaved off of this easily and the will-they/won't-they of it all just didn't work for me. Y'all are 30+ years old and single and like each other . . . but you can't date because . . . vibes? The MMC being emotionally unavailable as the driving tension of the plot was frustrating and kind of gave me the ick tbh.
